Here are some beneficial facial mask recipes
MATURE SKIN OIL FACIAL BLEND
24 drops Almond oil
5 drops argan oil
10 drops avocado oil
6 drops carrot seed oil
5 drops clary sage oil
24 drops coconut oil
10 drops evening primrose oil
3 drops frankincense oil
10 drops macadamia oil (optional)
10 drops olive oil
10 drops rosehip oil
15 drops safflower oil
8 drops borage oil
Mix these oils together and massage into skin.
MOISTURIZING ACNE SUNFLOWER ARTICHOKE FACIAL
1 fresh artichoke heart well cooked or canned hearts in water (not oil)
2 teaspoon light sunflower oil
1 teaspoon vinegar or fresh lemon juice
Mash, blend or puree artichoke. Mix in all the ingredients together and apply to skin. Leave on for 10-15 minutes then rinse off with warm water.
MOISTURIZING BANANA CREAM FACIAL TREATMENT
1 Vitamin E capsule
1 ripe banana peeled and mashed
1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream (or use yogurt)
Mix the ingredients together and apply to skin. Leave on for 10-20 minutes then rinse off with luke warm water.
MOISTURIZING BANANA FACIAL MASK
1/2 banana mashed
1 tablespoon honey
2 Tablespoon sour cream
Mix ingredients together, apply to skin and leave on for about 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
MOISTURIZING PROTECTIVE COCONUT OIL FACE MASK
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 teaspoon honey (UMF active honey is best otherwise use plain honey)
Blend ingredients together and apply to skin. Leave the mask on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with warm water.
MOISTURIZING EXFOLIATING MASK
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 Teaspoon (more or less, add drops if you need them) of Olive Oil or extra virgin Coconut oil Mix into a paste then massage into skin in a circular motion. Rinse off with warm water.
MOISTURIZING FACIAL TREATMENT OIL SERUM
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons sweet Almond oil
10 drops juniper oil
7 drops vanilla essential oil (can use neroli, bergamot or rose oils)
Set aside the bottle in a cool, dark place, and allow the mixture infuse for 72 hours before the first use. Blend ingredients in a glass bottle and shake well. Massage into skin before applying make-up in the mornings or after a facial treatment.
MOISTURIZING GHASSOUL CLAY and ARGAN OIL FACIAL MASK
1/2 tablespoon moroccan ghassoul powder
1/2 teaspoon argan oil
1/2 teaspoon Almond oil
Combine mixture together. Apply and leave on for a maximum of 5 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
MOISTURIZING LANOLIN FACIAL NIGHT CREAM GEL
1 tablespoon aloe vera
1/8 cup distilled water
1 tablespoon beeswax (white)
1/8 cup lanolin (anhydrous)
3 drops frankincense oil
1 drops lemon essential oil
1/8 cup 2 teaspoon Jojoba Oil (cold pressed)
1/8 cup 2 teaspoon apricot kernel oil
Blend the aloe gel with the oil and whisk to mix thoroughly. Set aside. In a double boiler, gently melt beeswax and Lanolin until just combined. Stir in aloe oil and distilled water and keep stirring until mixture thickens. Add mixture to jars and lightly cap until mixture completely cools then tighten caps. Apply to your nightly.
MOISTURIZING NEROLI AND LICORICE FACIAL SCRUB
1/2 cup finely ground almonds (or sunflower seeds)
1 tablespoon ground oatmeal (can grind or blend oatmeal or almonds together)
2 tablespoon soured milk, sour cream or yoghurt
2 drops of neroli
1 drop of licorice root extract
1 tablespoon Almond oil
Grind almonds and Oatmeal in a blender to a fine pulp or powder. Add soured Milk to bond the mixture. Add licorice root extract, Neroli and Almond Oils. Apply to face in a gentle rubbing motion avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10 minutes then rinse off with warm water.
MOISTURIZING OATMEAL, BALANCING, ITCHY SKIN, SOOTHING FACE MASK
1 ripe mashed banana
1 cup of ground oatmeal
Mix the ingredients together and apply to skin then rub to exfoliate skin. Leave on for 10-20 minutes then rinse off with luke warm water.
MOISTURIZING ROSEHIP FACE MASK
1 tablespoon white clay
3 drops of rose hip oil
1/2 teaspoon honey
4 drops rose geranium oil
Mix ingredients together all the ingredients together and apply to skin. Leave on for 10-15 minutes then rinse off with warm water.
MOISTURIZING SOOTHING FACE MASK
1 bar dark chocolate
3 tablespoon salt
1 cup milk or yogurt
Melt the chocolate (preferably in a double boiler) then add other ingredients. Apply to face and leave on for 15 minutes then rinse off with warm water.
MOISTURIZING, ANTI-OXIDANT CUCUMBER KIWI MASK
4 tablespoons fresh mashed or pureed cucumber
1/2 kiwi fruit peeled and mashed
1 teaspoon fresh whipping cream
1 tablespoon finely powdered oats
1 tablespoon kaolin clay
4 drops lavender oil
Mix or blend all ingredients together and apply to skin. Leave on for ten minutes then wash off with warm water. Store unused portion in the fridge for a few days and re-use before discarding after a maximum for three days.
