Papaya for face whitening
Here is an affordable homemade facial recipe that can not only whitens and lightens discoloration in your skin but also exfoliates and renews cells.
Papaya is used in many skin care products today. It’s an active ingredient in many soaps, lotions, toners, facial peels, moisturizers etc. It’s fabulous for whitening the skin and contains many powerful antioxidants that reduce and delay the signs of ageing.
So what are the benfits of Papaya for your skin? Papain, is an the enzyme in Papaya that works as a skin whitening agent. They contain antioxidants that fight premature aging in combination withVitamin C, Vitamin E, and Beta Carotene.
So here is your whitening facial recipe..
* 1/2 cup of ripe papaya
* 1 tablespoon of honey (preferable UMF honey)
* 1 teaspoon of cucumber (optional)
1. Cleanse your face.
2. Wash and peel the papaya (and cucumber if used), remove seeds and chop finely.
3. Mash the papaya in a bowl with a fork and mix in one tablespoon of honey.
4. Apply the mask to your face with fingertips or brush and leave for 15 minutes being careful to avoid delicate eye areas.
5. After 15 minutes has assed use a clean wet face cloth to remove from your skin.
6. Rinse your face with warm water.
7. Pat dry with a soft towel.
This papaya skin whitening recipe is just one of many natural whitening recipes you can use once or twice a week. Papaya is so good for your skin because of it’s rich vitamin content but also because it lifts off all of the dead skin cells that make your skin look and feel dull.
It’s also full of vitamin C so it protects your skin with antioxidants from free radical damage making it one of my favorite natural skin care recipe ingredients.
