You can make tomato masks like the ones below to give your skin a boost:
Moisturizing antioxidant skin tomato mask for normal to dry skin
1 ripe tomato pureed
1/2 cup whipped cream, coconut cream, banana or avocado
Mash these ingredients together well and apply to skin with fingertips. Leave on for 15 minutes then rinse off.
*For very dry skin you can add a tsp of olive, apricot or Almond oils to this mix.*
Oily skin (or problem skin) tomato mask
1 ripe tomato pureed
1/2 cup whipped cream, coconut cream, banana or avocado
Squeeze of lemon juice, grapefruit juice or apple cider vinegar
1 tsp crushed parsley (optional)
Crush these ingredients together well and apply to skin with fingertips. Leave on for 15 minutes then rinse off.
Exfoliating tomato mask scrub
1 ripe tomato pureed
1/2 cup whipped cream, coconut cream, banana or avocado
1 tsp cornmeal, ground seeds or oatmeal or brown sugar
Mix these ingredients together well and rub onto skin, leave on for ten mins before washing off with warm water.
